Ponyride, a nonprofit founded in 2011, is committed to facilitating the growth of social missions within artists, entrepreneurs, makers, and nonprofits. It initially was based in Southwest Detroit and consisted of a co-working space, as well as areas that small manufacturing and other businesses could lease below market value.
I worked with Ponyride for several years, creating two anniversary publications, branding for various maker markets and a website.
Ponyride 2019
This publication was created around the time that Ponyride was getting ready to shift gears and move out of their Vermont St location. We wanted to highlight as many of the makers that had made Ponyride home as possible, as well as expand on some of the history that we touched on in the five-year anniversary book and look forward to the future.
Ponyride Five-Year Anniversary Publication
This book was designed to be used as a fundraising tool; something that could be used as a reference in meetings to show different aspects of the organization. We wanted to dig into the main principals of Ponyride and talk about what made it unique and welcoming for entrepreneurs in Detroit.
